    Ingredients:

    • 1 whole head of broccoli, cut into small florets
    • 2–3 tablespoons butter
    • 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
    • Salt, to taste
    • Optional (for adults): crumbled feta cheese, balsamic glaze

    Instructions:

    1. Blanch the broccoli:
      • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
      • Add the broccoli florets and blanch for 2–3 minutes, until bright green and just tender.
      • Drain and let rest for 5 minutes to cool and dry slightly.
    2. Sauté the broccoli:
      • In a pan, melt the butter over low heat.
      • Add the broccoli and sauté for 3–5 minutes, stirring gently so it absorbs the butter.
      • Season with salt.
    3. Add panko:
      • Sprinkle in the panko breadcrumbs and stir well to coat everything in butter.
      • Cook for another 3 to 5 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the panko turns golden brown and crispy.
    4. Serve:
      • For kids: Serve warm as-is — buttery, crunchy, and satisfying.
      • For adults: Top with crumbled feta cheese and a drizzle of balsamic glaze for a savory-sweet upgrade that’s sure to earn compliments.
